2008 election for the Mayor of London
The London mayoral election, 2008 was on 1 May 2008. It was the third London mayoral election, the first election was held in May 2000 and the second election in June 2004. It was won by the Conservative Party candidate Boris Johnson. Boris Johnson became the second Mayor of London.
