2009 Norwich North by-election
2009 by-election won by Chloe Smith
The 2009 Norwich North by-election was a by-election for the UK Parliament constituency of Norwich North. It happened because the current MP Ian Gibson decided he didn't want to be MP anymore. The by-election took place on 23 July 1009.[1]

The winner of the by-election was Chloe Smith of the Conservative Party. Smith was aged 27 when elected, This meant she was the new Baby of the House.[2]
