The 2014 Tasmanian state election was held on 15 March 2014 to elect all 25 members of the Tasmanian House of Assembly. It was conducted by the Tasmanian Electoral Commission (TEC).

The incumbent Labor minority government, led by Premier Lara Giddings, tried to win a fifth term in government. However, they were defeated by the Liberal Party, led by Opposition Leader Will Hodgman, in a landslide.[1] Labor had been in power for 16 years.
