2023 attack on the Chem Pluto

On 23 December 2023, the Liberian-flagged, Japanese-owned and Dutch-operated chemical tanker Chem Pluto was attacked by a one-way drone launched by Unknown attacker. United States blamed it on Iran, but Iranian foreign ministry denied any involvement.[1][5][6] At the time, it was carrying crude oil from Saudi Arabia to India.[7] The attack caused a fire on board, and nobody was injured. The Indian Navy responded by sending a Vikram patrol vessel to the tanker.[8][9]
