The ongoing outbreak of African swine fever in Luzon, Philippines is began since the disease in Rizal province in 2019 and the nearby provinces, The Batangas province is placed under state of calamity due to the ASF (African Swine Fever).[1]

The provinces of Luzon is under control in Laguna, La Union, Nueva Ecija, Quezon and some parts of Metro Manila, confirmed the African swine fever virus, The mass vaccination of pigs to arrived and may be available in August 16, 2024.[2]
