Aardonyx

genus of sauropodomorphs

Aardonyx is a genus of dinosaur. It lived in what is now South Africa during the Early Jurassic about 195 million years ago.[1] The Aardonyx had a long, slender neck and a small head. It had a thick, barrel chest and primarily stood on two legs, but could walk on four. It was 20 feet long and 6 feet tall.[2] It weighed about half a ton. Its diet was herbivorous.[1]
