Aharon Abuhatzira

Aharon Abuhatzira (Hebrew: אהרן אבוחצירא, 28 October 1938 – 21 September 2021) was an Moroccan-born Israeli politician. He was born in Erfoud, Morocco. He was a member of the Tami Party and Likud. He was a member of Knesset between 1974 until 1992.

Abuhatzira was Minister of Religious Services between 1977 until 1981, Immigrant Absorption between 1981 until 1982 and of Labor between 1981 until 1982. In 1982, he was convicted of fraud and sentenced to four years in jail.

Abuhatzira died on 21 September 2021 at the age of 82.[1]
