Alex Olmedo

Peruvian tennis player, lived in the USA

Alejandro "Alex" Olmedo Rodríguez (March 24, 1936 – December 9, 2020) was a Peruvian-American tennis player. Olmedo won two Majors in 1959 (Australia and Wimbledon) and was added into the Tennis Hall of Fame in 1987.

Olmedo died of cardiac arrest caused by cancer in Los Angeles on December 9, 2020 at the age of 84.[1]
