Allied-occupied Austria (German: Alliiert-besetztes Österreich) was very similar to Germany at the time as it was occupied by the same 4 countries (United States, United Kingdom, Soviet Union and France) also it was part of Nazi Germany before The German Instrument of Surrender in 1945 and occupied for 10 years before gaining Independence as the Second Austrian Republic.
