Ana Paula Lobato
Senator of the Republic for the state of Maranhão
Ana Paula Dias Lobato Nova Alves (born on May 11, 1984) is a Brazilian nurse and politician who has been serving as a senator for the state of Maranhão since 2023.[1][2] She had previously been the vice-mayor for the city of Pinheiro. She's currently affiliated to the Democratic Labour Party (PDT).[3]

Her appointment occurred as a result of Flávio Dino, the elected senator, assuming the position of Minister of Justice and Public Security during Lula's second presidency. Ana Paula became a full senator after being nominated to the Supreme Federal Court.[4][5]
