Andrée Lachapelle
Franco-Canadian actress
Andrée Lachapelle OC, CQ (November 13, 1931 – November 21, 2019) was a Canadian actress. She was born in Montreal, Quebec. She was known for her roles in Léolo, Cap Tourmente, Route 132, The Last Escape and Don't Let the Angels Fall.
In 1985, she was made an Officer of the Order of Canada.[1] In 1997, she was made a Knight of the National Order of Quebec.[2]
On November 21, 2019, Lachapelle, who had cancer, died by assisted suicide at a Montreal hospital. She was 88 years old.[3]
