Andrzej Lesiak

Polish association football player and manager

Andrzej Lesiak (born May 21, 1966 in Nowogród Bobrzański) is a former Polish football player and current coach.

Career

Lesiak began his career as a professional footballer in 1985 with the Polish club GKS Katowice. In 1992 he signed with Wacker Innsbruck. After two years with Innsbruck he moved to Dynamo Dresden in the Bundesliga. After relegation he went to Austria again and joined SV Ried. Aftter one season in Ried he went to SK Rapid Vienna. Lesiak made his way to SV Austria Salzburgfor the 1997/98 season. At the end of the season he came back to SV Ried. Lesiak stayed three years, from 1999 to 2000. Then he moved to Pasching . After just one season (2001/02), he moved to SV Ried for the third time in his career. At the end of the 2002/03 season, Lesiak ended his football career.

Manager

When Lesiak ended his active football career after the 2002/03 season, he became coach at SV Ried. After two yearshe went to SC Schwanenstadt in 2004. After another two years he went to TSV Hartberg. 2008 he moved to 1. FC Vöcklabruck. At the beginning of 2009 he was replaced by Dejan Stanković. On June 17, 2009, it was announced that he became coach of Polish club Zagłębie Lubin. [1] Lesiak left Zagłębie after one season and became coach at Union Gurten.
