Antoine-François Callet
French painter (1741-1823)
Antoine-François Callet (1741-1823) was a French painter. He was the official portait painter of Louis XVI. He won the Prix de Rome, in 1764. Today, he is mostly known for the portraits he painted. He also painted some allegorical works.
