Aurangzeb Naqshbandi

Aurangzeb Naqshbandi is an Indian journalist. He is known for his reporting on conflict zones, especially in Jammu and Kashmir.^[1] He writes for Moneycontrol.com,^[2] Deccan Herald,^[3] Hindustan Times,^[4] and Mint.^[5]

Career

In 2012, the government of Jammu and Kashmir recognized him for his work in journalism.^[6]

In October 2013, he was part of a media team that traveled with the Prime Minister to Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia.^[7]

Pegasus Spyware Controversy

Naqshbandi was mentioned in the Pegasus spyware controversy. His name appeared on a list of journalists and individuals who were reportedly targeted or possibly targeted for surveillance by clients of the NSO Group's Pegasus Spyware.^[8]^[9]^[10]^[11]
