Basílio do Nascimento
Roman Catholic bishop of Baucau, East Timor
Basílio do Nascimento Martins (14 June 1950 – 30 October 2021) was the East Timorese Roman Catholic Bishop of Baucau from 2004 until his death.[1] He was born in Suai, then Portuguese Timor. Nascimento became a priest in 1977.
Nascimento died on 30 October 2021 at a hospital in Dili, East Timor from a heart attack, aged 71.[2]
