Battle of the Two Men
1075 battle
Battle of the Two Men — was a battle fought in 1075 between the Qarmatians, favoured by Banu Amer, and the Uyunis, favoured by the Seljuks. In this battle, the military commander Abdullah ibn Ali al-Uyuni managed to defeat the Qarmatians and entered the city of Al-Ahsa, laying the foundations for the collapse of the Qarmatian state.[1]
