Begum Mahmooda Salim Khan

Begum Mahmooda Salim Khan (May 1913 – June 2007) was an early pioneer woman social activist of Pakistan, especially active in promoting women's rights and their access to better educational and health facilities. She briefly remained Pakistan's first woman cabinet minister during the General Ayub Khan regime, between 1962 and 1967,[1] before quitting politics and returning full-time to public service.
She died on 17 June 2007 aged 94 years.
