Holding "Belavtodor" is a group of construction and industrial companies in Belarus, which occupies a leading position in the market of complex construction, reconstruction and overhaul of transport infrastructure facilities. It also manufactures road construction equipment, road construction materials, reinforced concrete, steel and other products for road and bridge construction.

The Belavtodor holding includes 13 road-building, bridge-building, industrial and transport companies.

History change

In 2001, after the liquidation of the Committee for Roads of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the “Belavtodor” department was created. The main tasks of the company are the development and implementation of a road policy aimed at the rational development and improvement of the technical condition of the public road network, meeting the needs of the economy and the population in road services, creating conditions for the development of road traffic.[1]

In July 2013, the Belavtodor holding was established. The holding united companies in the field of road construction and transport facilities.

In October 2015, the Belavtodor holding was transferred from the subordination of the Ministry of Transport and Communications to the subordination of the State Committee for Property of the Republic of Belarus.

In January 2017, OJSC “Management company of the Belavtodor holding” was established by transforming the republican unitary enterprise “Management company of the Belavtodor holding”.

In 2020, Belavtodar became the first company with a state share in the authorized capital, whose shares were admitted to trading on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.[2]
