Benny Andersson
Swedish musician and composer
Göran Bror Benny Andersson (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈbɛnʏ ²andɛˌʂɔn]; born 16 December 1946) is a Swedish musician, composer and producer. He was a member of the Swedish music group ABBA (1972–1982), and co-composer of the musicals Chess, Kristina från Duvemåla, and Mamma Mia!. For the 2008 movie version of Mamma Mia!, he worked also as an executive producer.
On 15 April 2013, it was officially announced by the EBU and the SVT that Andersson, along with Ulvaeus and the Swedish DJ and record producer Avicii, had composed the anthem for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. The song was performed for the first time in the Final on 18 May.[1]
