Bill Owens (Colorado politician)
American politician
William Forrester Owens (born October 22, 1950) is an American former politician. He was the 40th Governor of Colorado from 1999 to 2007. He is a member of the Republican Party. He was re-elected in 2002 by the largest majority in state history.[5] He was known for making transportation, education and tax cuts during his time as governor.[6]
