Bioaccumulation

gradual accumulation of substances, such as pesticides, in an organism

Bioaccumulation is how toxic substances (such as pesticides) build up in living organisms. This is bad for health, life, and the environment.

Similar terms are bioconcentration, biological concentration, or biological magnification.[1]
