Bobby Dimond

Australian rugby league footballer (1929-2020)

Bobby Dimond (July 30, 1930 – May 30, 2020) was an Australian rugby league footballer. He played in the 1940s and 1950s and was known for his play with the national team. He was selected to play for Australia and was a member of the 1948 Kangaroo Tour. He played 20 matches on the tour and scored ten tries, but did not play in a test match.

He was born in Dapto, New South Wales. Dimond died on May 30, 2020 in Mexico City, aged 89.[1][2]
