Boops

Boops is a genus of ray-finned fish with the following species:

• Boops boops Linnaeus, 1758 (bogue)
• Boops lineatus Boulenger, 1892

Boops boops

The salema porgy was once assigned to this genus before, but it is now in the monotypic genus Sarpa.
