The ChristianUnion is an orthodox Christian democratic party.
It was established in 2001 as a merger of the Reformed Political Alliance (GPV) and the Reformatory Political Federation (RPF).
Political leader is Gert-Jan Segers (former leaders Arie Slob and André Rouvoet).
