Camphor
group of stereoisomers
Camphor is a waxy, flammable, transparent solid. It has a strong smell.[1] It is a terpenoid. Its chemical formula is C10H16O. It is found in the wood of the camphor laurel (Cinnamomum camphora). Camphor can also be artificially made from the oil of turpentine.[2]
