Caretaker manager

coach temporarily in charge of a team

In association football a caretaker manager is a person who takes over as the manager when either the current manager is not free, or they leave their team.[1] Caretaker managers can be replaced if a new manager is given a job, or they may become a manager of the team full-time.[2]
