Cary Joji Fukunaga

American filmmaker

Cary Joji Fukunaga (born July 10, 1977)[1] is an American filmmaker and television director. He directed the 2011 movie version of Jane Eyre. He also directed the first season of the HBO series True Detective. He became the first director of Asian descent to win the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.
