Chía, Cundinamarca
Colombian municipality of the department of Cundinamarca
Chía is a town in the Cundinamarca department of Colombia. It is to the north of Bogotá on the main road to Zipaquira. Its history goes back to the pre-Columbian time. The name comes from the Chibchan language. It means "moon" or "month".
