Charles Dumont (26 March 1929 – 18 November 2024) was a French singer and composer. Dumont was best known for writing or co-writing several well-known songs recorded by singer Édith Piaf. Their best known work was "Non, je ne regrette rien". Dumont was born in Cahors, France.

Dumont died on 18 November 2024 in Paris, France from a long-illness, aged 95.[1][2]
