Chevrolet Silverado

The Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra are pickup trucks manufactured from General Motors. The Chevrolet Silverado first began around 1998, although the name Silverado actually got its use on pickup trucks beginning in 1975.

The Chevy Silverado is available in five engine options, the standard being a V6 engine capable of producing up to 285-horsepower. Buyers can also choose between a turbo charged four cylinder with a maximum output of 310-horsepower, and two V8 engine options, producing either 355 or 420-horsepower. The Silverado has a maximum towing capacity of 12,000 lbs and can also be equipped with various advanced technologies, such as theft notification, tire pressure monitoring and tow/haul reminder. Inside the cabin, the truck features a variety of seating configurations, depending upon the cab type.[1]
