History
changeS. Truett Cathy opened a restaurant called the Dwarf Grill (now known as the Dwarf house) in Atlanta, in 1946.[3] In 1961, he found a fryer that is quicker in frying the chicken.[4] After the discovery, he changed the name to Chick-fil-A inc. The slogan, "We Didn't Invent the Chicken, Just the Chicken Sandwich" refers to their top menu item, the chicken sandwich.[5]
The first Chick-fil-A opened in 1967, in the Greenbriar mall in Atlanta.[3]
