1983 car bomb attack in Pretoria, South Africa, perpetrated by Umkhonto we Sizwe, the military wing of the ANC

The Church Street bombing was a car bombing on 20 May 1983 by Umkhonto we Sizwe, in Pretoria, South Africa.[1] It killed the two bombers (because it exploded ten minutes earlier than they intended) and 17 other people.[1]
