From 1991, Chazal was the presenter of TF1's weekend news until the last broadcast on 13 September 2015. Anne-Claire Coudray, who had often substituted for Chazal when she was absent, was her replacement.[2]

Between 2010 and 2015, after the news, she also presented the program Reportages at 1:30 p.m.[3]

Chazal hosted Je/nous de Claire, a talk show on the gay TV channel Pink TV that he helped start in 2004. The title of this show plays phonetically on the title of the French film Le Genou de Claire.[4]

Chazal graduated from HEC Paris.[5] She holds the equivalent of a doctorate in economics.
