Claude Nelson Warren

American archaeologist

Claude Nelson Warren (March 18, 1932 – November 4, 2021) was an American anthropologist. His works focused on early humans in the Far West such as in the California Desert. He helped define San Dieguito and La Jolla complexes. Warren worked at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.[1] He was born in Goldendale, Washington.

Warren died on November 4, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 89.[2]
