Colic

form of pain

Colic is a form of pain that starts and stops quickly and out of nowhere. It happens because muscular contractions of a hollow tube (colon, gall bladder, ureter, etc.). This is done to remove an obstruction by forcing content out. It may cause sweating and vomiting.[1]
