This frog lives on the dead leaves on the ground in cloud forests. Scientists saw the frog 1500 meters above sea level.[2][3]

One of the places this frog lives is a protected park: Parque Nacional Natural Paramillo.[3]

Scientists do not know if this frog is in danger of dying out.[3]
