Dai Jiameng
Dai Jiameng (born 7 July 1995) is a Chinese wheelchair basketball player (4.5 wheelchair basketball classification). She is a member of the China women's national wheelchair basketball team and the "Beijing" team. She won the silver medal at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, and the gold medal at the 2018 Asian Para Games. [1]
She finished fourth with the team at the 2018 Wheelchair Basketball World Championship , and sixth at the 2016 Summer Paralympics .
When she was four years old she was involved in a car accident that resulted in a limb deficiency. With a passion for basketball she started with wheelchair basketball in Beijing when she was fourteen years old. She made her debut at the 2014 Women's World Wheelchair Basketball Championship where she finished seventh. She competed at the 2015 Women's U25 Wheelchair Basketball World Championship.
She studied accounting at the Beijing Radio and TV University.
