Damar Hamlin
Damar Romeyelle Hamlin[1] (born March 24, 1998) is an American football player. He plays as a safety for the Buffalo Bills.

Early life
changeHe grew up in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. He studied at Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He played basketball and football. [2][3]
Hamlin went to the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. He played college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers.[3]
NFL career
changeThe Buffalo Bills chose Hamlin to play with them in the 2021 NFL draft.[4] He became a safety in 2022.[5]
On January 2, 2023, during a game Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals, Hamlin collapsed after tackling Tee Higgins.[6][7] He was given CPR for 10 minutes.[8] An ambulance took him to University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center.[9] He had gone into cardiac arrest.[10]
The NFL suspended the game. At 10 p.m., the game was postponed (delayed).[11]
