Fictional character biography
changeDanny is the son of wealthy industrialists Wendell and Heather Rand. After a plane crash in the Himalayas, he is raised by the monks of K'un-Lun, a mystical city that can only be accessed every 10 years. There, he trains in martial arts and learns to harness the power of the Iron Fist, a mystical ability that allows him to focus his chi to enhance his physical abilities and perform incredible feats, including striking objects with extraordinary force.
After spending 15 years in K'un-Lun, Danny returns to New York City as an adult to reclaim his family's company, Rand Enterprises. However, he faces challenges from both his family's past and the current realities of the corporate world.

Danny can channel his chi to enhance his physical abilities and create a glowing energy fist that can strike with incredible power. This ability also allows him to heal himself and others. As the heir to Rand Enterprises, he has access to considerable resources, although he often struggles with the responsibilities of both his corporate legacy and his role as a hero.
Reception
changeDanny Rand's portrayal and the Iron Fist series received mixed reviews from critics and fans. Some praised the martial arts choreography and storytelling, while others criticized issues related to pacing, character development, and the handling of cultural themes.
