David Byrd (politician)
American politician
David Byrd (born September 8, 1957) is an American politician and retired basketball coach. He is a Republican. Byrd represented the 71st district of the Tennessee House of Representatives since 2015.[1][2] He was born in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
On December 10, 2020 Byrd was hospitalized in Waynesboro with COVID-19 and placed in a ventilator.[3]
