David Lodge (author)

English writer (1935–2025)

David John Lodge, CBE, FRSL (28 January 1935 – 1 January 2025) was an English author and critic. He was a professor at the University of Birmingham until 1987. He was known for his "Campus Trilogy" – Changing Places: A Tale of Two Campuses (1975), Small World: An Academic Romance (1984) and Nice Work (1988).
