Daytime

period on any given point of the planet's surface during which it experiences natural illumination from sunlight

Daytime is the period when the Sun is above the horizon. The opposite of daytime is nighttime. The length of daytime varies, being 12 hours on the summer and winter solstices. However, the length of a day and night always add up to 24 hours.[1]
