Dee Benson
United States federal judge (1948-2020)
Dee Vance Benson (August 25, 1948 – November 30, 2020) was an American politician and lawyer. He was born in Sandy, Utah. He was nominated to the United States District Court for the District of Utah in 1991 by President George H. W. Bush. From 1999 to 2006, he was chief justice of the court.
Benson died of brain cancer on November 30, 2020 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 72.[1]
