Deryck Ferrier
Deryck John Henri Ferrier (20 July 1933 – 7 January 2022) was a Surinamese sociologist and agricultural economist.[1][2]

Ferrier became in 1971 general director of the Center for Economic and Social Science Research (Ceswo). He was best known as a social science researcher of Surinamese society. He was also the author of literary work.[1][3][4]
Ferrier died in Paramaribo on 7 January 2022, at the age of 88.[1][2]
