Dieter Danzberg
German association football player and manager (1940-2019)
Dieter Danzberg (12 November 1940 – 28 December 2019) was a German professional footballer. He played as a defender. He was born in Duisburg, Germany. Danzberg began his career with hometown club MSV, later playing with FC Bayern Munich, Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, Freiburger FC and Eintracht Gelsenkirchen.[1]

In 2009, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. He died from the disease at a nursing home in Dorsten, Germany on 28 December 2019 at the age of 79.[1]
