Dieter Popp

German communist and spy (1938-2020)

Dieter Popp (24 November 1938 – 27 November 2020) was a West German insurance agent. He worked as a spy between 1969 and 1990. He was born in Bonn. He was a spy for the Military Intelligence Service of the East German National People's Army.[1][2]

Popp died on 27 November 2020, three days after his 82nd birthday.[3]
