(Redirected from Digitisation)
Digitization (US), digitisation (UK) is converting information into a digital (computer-readable) form. In this way, the information is organized into bits.[1][2]
The data is put in the form of binary numbers. This helps computer processing. The meaning of digitizing is the conversion of analog source material into a numerical format.
