Don Salls

American football player

Donald J. Salls (June 24, 1919 – January 3, 2021) was an American football player and coach.[1] He was the head football coach at Jacksonville State University from 1946 to 1952 and from 1954 to 1964.[2] He was a Purple Heart recipient.[3] Salls was born in Trenton, New Jersey.

Salls died on January 3, 2021 at the age of 101.[4]
