Dorothy Tree
American actress, voice teacher and writer (1906-1992)
Dorothy Tree (born Dorothy Estelle Triebitz, May 21, 1906 – February 13, 1992)[1] was an American actress and author. She appeared in many character roles in movies between 1927 and 1951. She played May Emmerich in The Asphalt Jungle. She also played Frances in Having Wonderful Time.
Tree was born in Brooklyn, New York. She died of heart failure at age eighty-five in Englewood, New Jersey.
