Ebony Reigns
Ghanaian Dancehall artist (1997-2018)
Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng (16 February 1997 – 8 February 2018), known by the stage name Ebony, was a Ghanaian dancehall/Afrobeats artist widely known for her hit songs "Poison"[1][2] and "Kupe". She was discovered by Bullet, a member of Ruff n Smooth fame.[3] She was born in Accra, Ghana.
In April 2017, Reigns was arrested for exposing her breast while wearing a mini-skirt at a passport office in Accra as she attempted to travel to Tokyo for her concert.[4]
Reigns was killed in a car crash on 8 February 2018 while returning from Sunyani to Accra after a visit.[5][6] She was one week shy from her 21st birthday.[7]
